New Kids Pom-pom & Tassel Workshop

We are very excited about our new knitting and sewing workshop coming to HP on Mondays after school. The first workshop is starting next week, and you can make your own pom-pom and hassle bunting!

Running Monday 11th March and Monday 18th March 4pm-5.30pm at Happy Potter!

This workshop is taught over 2 weeks. It's perfect for beginners and aimed at 8-14 year olds. You don't need any experience, and will be taught everything you need to know to create your own AMAZING pompom & tassel bunting!

The following skills will be taught throughout the two workshops:

How to make single coloured pompoms

How to make multicoloured & patterned pompoms

How to make tassles using a variety of different types of yarn

Learn about different types of yarn such as cotton, wool and recycled yarn

You will use all of your beautiful hand made pompoms and tassels to create your very own bunting!

This 2 part workshop will be taught by Hannah, who graduated from Winchester School of Art in 2017 with a First Class Degree in Fashion Design & Knitwear. Since graduating, Hannah has set up her own knitwear brand and has taught a variety of art, textiles and knitting workshops for both children and adults! This class holds a maximum of 6 children, so that everyone can be well guided through the various techniques.

All materials used in the workshop aim to be as sustainable as possible, and are sourced from ethically and environmentally concious suppliers. £5 from every workshop booked will be donated to The Ocean Cleanup who use new technology to rid the world's oceans of plastic.
