🎂 Children's Birthday Parties

How much are your children's birthday parties?

Our children's party packages are £25 per child, with a minimum of 8 children. The package includes the chosen activity, studio fee, food and drinks, party bags, invitations, decorations and a team to help run the party.

​

What age are your parties suitable for?

We generally recommend our parties for children turning aged five and over.

Children aged eight and under have a 1.5-hour party, while parties for children aged nine and over last two hours. Please think about space and smaller numbers if parents are also attending.

What activities can we choose from?

Depending on availability, our party activities include:

• Pottery painting

• T-shirt or tote bag design

• Decopatch

• Foam clay​

How many children can attend?

The minimum is 8 kids. Our back party area accommodates up to 20 children, with limited space for standing adults. The front of the shop can accommodate up to 30 children and offers more space for parents, with a minimum spend based on 21 children. If lots of adults are planning to stay, we recommend discussing the front-of-shop option with us.

Do parents need to stay?

We strongly recommend drop-off parties where appropriate, which helps keep the space comfortable for everyone. If lots of parents would like to stay, please let us know when booking so we can advise on the best space to accommodate numbers. There is a minimum spend if in a larger area.

Is food included?

Yes! Our standard party package includes sandwiches, grapes, crisps, popcorn and squash or water, along with party food arrangements.

You can choose three sandwich fillings from our available options when booking.

Can we bring a birthday cake?

Yes! You're welcome to bring a birthday cake for us to serve during the party.​

​

Can we bring our own party food?

We ask that customers don't bring their own food, apart from a birthday cake or food needed because of a severe allergy. Please tell us about any allergies or dietary requirements when booking so we can discuss the arrangements with you. We ask that food is not brought in for parents. 

​

Do I need to bring anything extra?

No, we've got you covered!  We provide everything you need, including a cake knife, candles lighting equipment, plates, napkins and decorations. You don't need to bring anything apart from your birthday cake. Just turn up and enjoy the celebrations!

​Can I bring sparklers, paper bunting or cake toppers?​ 

For safety reasons, we don't allow sparklers or any flammable decorations to be used on cakes. You're welcome to bring traditional birthday candles or plastic cake toppers to decorate your cake.

Can I bring a piñata or book a face painter?

Our parties are all about getting creative, so we keep the focus on pottery painting and crafting! Unfortunately, we're unable to accommodate piñatas or external entertainment, such as face painters, during our parties.

​

Can I add a signature or party plate?

For a special keepsake, we can create a signature plate or photo frame. This includes the fingerprint and name of each guest along with a message, such as “Happy 6th Birthday [Name].” The plate costs £15, and the frame is £22.

Can we use the garden?

During the summer months and in nicer weather, you're welcome to use our garden tables for food and seated activities or games.

For everyone's safety, we ask that children remain seated at the tables when using the garden. Running around, going into the bushes or picking up sticks isn't permitted, as we've had trips and falls in the past. Adults are welcome to stand in the garden, but children must be supervised and aren't allowed to run around.

Unfortunately, the garden is closed during the winter months and in wet, frosty or slippery conditions to help prevent accidents.

What happens if we finish our pottery/ craft early?

If you finish painting your pottery before the end of your session, don't worry! We have drawing equipment available, or you can enjoy some of our board games, such as Headbands, while we wait for others or for the food to arrive.

What's in the party bags?

Party bags are a little extra, they include a scratch art kit, stickers, sweeties, tattoos and a little voucher from us. These are subject to change. You are welcome to top these up, just hand the extras to us!

How do we secure our party booking?

A 50% deposit is required at least four weeks before the party. This is based on your estimated number of guests and is deducted from the final bill.

The deposit is non-refundable under our standard policy. If you need to reschedule, the deposit can be transferred to a new date if you make the change at least 48 hours before the event. Cancellations within 48 hours mean the deposit is forfeited.

When can we collect the pottery painted at a party?

Pottery painted at a party is usually ready to collect about one week later. We wrap and name each item. Pottery is usually collected by the party parents but can be collected by individual party guests. Please give them your party code.
